OVERVIEW
The product enhances the awareness level of our customers on their large-scale operations associated with the emission of greenhouse gases. We use multispectral satellite images for the detection and quantification of methane releases. The algorithm is applied to an oil and gas terminal where complex and dynamic operations proceed. The advantage of the methodology is that it is not labor-intensive in comparison to in-situ measurements and other alternative techniques, is fully automated, and can cover wide areas of interest at once.
